Flea Market Finds

The clouds parted, the sun shone through and lit the path to my local Oppy, enticing me to take a peek, knowing I wouldn't be disappointed.

Oh how I love you my little Oppy. Just when I'm about to dismiss you thinking you'll just be full of doilies, you hide a little something special on the top shelf where no-one looks except sweet ol' me!

Perhaps I just had the vision for something far more grander than a bicycle basket. In such wonderful condition, a bicycle basket would have been very practical but I had bigger plans for you.

I will hang you on the wall with pride and should the need arise when I need to whiz down the street on my bike like I've just come off the set of a Jane Austin recreation of the novel,  I will strap you to my BMX handlebars and ride with the wind in my hair and my basket full of sweet produce to feed my children.

Not finished though...I'm seriously in love with this $1 plate.

and just as in love with this gorgeous lemon trim that I will use to lovingly wrap gifts with.
