I spied the hand carved wooden napkin ring holders a few weeks back and the lady at the Oppy wanted $2 for each of them. I chose to walk away from that purchase. However, one week later, I tried my luck with a different lady and she charged me $3 for everything you see in the photo. I've since decided to paint the napkin rings white which I think works really well with my table setting.

Lovely purchases, especially the pastry wheel :)
$2 each! Thank goodness you walked away and came back. Some op shops have gone quite nutty with their pricing lately.
They're perfect now all pretty and white!
The pastry cutter is superb - nice find!
Such a pretty collection.
Gorgeous work - divine finds xx
I'm learning which op shop ladies are the best (ie cheapest) pricers too.... huge variations! very pretty finds!
certainly depends on who you get, well done they're lovely and worth the wait! love your pastry roller, that wooden handle is gorgeous and the porcelain they certainly don't make them like they use to. : )
You found some wonderful pieces and for great prices. LOVE the pastry roller. Thanks for the link. I'm going to check it out now. :)
Have a wonderful day!

The white makes the design pop on those rings.
Unfortunately around here the prices are the prices in thirft stores. (No haggling.)That is why I prefer a church sale or yard sale.
I love the pastry roller.....I have never seen one of these. I'm sure your pastries will look beautiful. x
oh they are some pretty finds I love the little plate!
Hey thanks for your comment about my giveaway I really appreciate you stopping by and reading my blog! With making the magnets I just take the badge bit out and stick a magnet on the back instead! I bought my badge maker from badge-a-minit here in adelaide you should google them! they have some great stuff! AND of course I am always happy to make you some for a small fee and send them over to you. x
very good idea to paint those rings white. they look so much fresher. and the ceramic pastry roller... a photo shot in action would do me fine... :) (and don't let it slip through your hands either, that would be tricky for me...)
Thank you for participating in my give away, I hope you are lucky and will be a pleasure for me to send my gift to you!!
Hugs annamaria
