Flea Market Find

It was my daughter's birthday yesterday. It was a small affair with a few family members but it was a wonderful day. It also gave me an opportunity to whip out some recent flea market purchases.

These salad servers are so handy and robust. They just don't make them like this anymore.

Pop over to Sophie's for more flea market goodies.

mhm. beautiful salad servers, especially since they come in all kind of designs.
i once picked up a beautiful set from niagara falls! until the spoon actually shattered onto the floor...
a next set broke off at the joining point...
(i mean, just to warn you a little bit.)
but enjoy them though! they are indeed great!!!

They're lovely and yes, why is it that all the vintage things are better? I guess we now live in a world where all is mass-produced for bigger profits. Very sad really.

I really like the servers - they are so much nicer than plastic ones aren't they?!

I love that second set - do you have one of those great teak salad bowls to go with them?

Wooden salad servers are the best and add such a touch of class.
