My creative space
I think it's fair to say I'm an idea's woman. I enjoy inventing lots of creative projects. It's the follow through that's the issue. This week, I've bitten off more than I can chew! The palings are from my fence to make a rustic coffee table. The driftwood for a Christmas wreath. The gorgeous print from Ink & Spindle is to recover the foot stool. I'm very unmotivated right now. I need some divine creative intervention!
To view creative projects that are actually finished, head over to Kootoyoo.

Best intentions, huh! Have a cup of tea and a tim tam and umm...'conceptualise'!!
You'll get there ! At least you have your supplies together .
Well you certainly have amazing ideas...Tackle one at a time and use the exciement of finishingf one as the motivator to start the next.
You can do it! There's a local guy who makes stuff with driftwood & such, he might help you out with the table...
Some Toblerone & a cup of tea always manages to get me in the mood for creating.
Have a coffee and regroup. Then start ONE of them and hopefully you'll work up a bit of adrenilin to carry on. This advice from a serious procrastinator.
Enjoy

I understand the feeling, but I love the starting point. I've been looking at all the dead wisteria vines I have lying on the ground this morning (another unfinished project= the garden) thinking Christmas wreath. Beautiful fabric - would love to see that made into a footstool. I sent you an email because I stuff up your comments - pressed deleter instead of publish (oh dear). Sorry to be a bother, please re-enter!
I think we all have those days. That's what happens when you're a creative person, you just can't seem to switch it off sometimes!
Are you still in for the stocking swap? I still haven't got your email and I wanted to send out a bulk email with all the details etc. You can email me at selinasvintage (at) gmail.com to let me know one way or the other. Cheers!
put it all away.
dream a little more.
the solution will jump into your lap.
;)
I am absolutely the wrong one to ask. If I even began to open my mouth there would be a lot of 'pot' and 'kettle' and 'black' involvement.
i hear you on the follow through problem!! if you find a solution please pass it my way :)
i just try to think of how fantastic it will look when i do finally do it, although that doesn't always get me off my bum.
and by the sounds of it yours will definitely be looking fantastic :)
It's all very interesting! Maybe you just need to look at it longer and you'll dream something up? I can't wait to see the rustic table!
Have a great weekend,
xoxo,
Carol
I wouldn't want to chew a fence paling either ;-)
