Grateful for....

The pristine beaches we are privileged to call home

The innocence of childhood - blissfully unaware of the big bad world

The beauty of discarded glass reshaped by nature

Creating simple art that reminds us of those precious days spent together

Thinking of all of those recently affected by the Japanese Tsunami and closer to home, everyone in Oz and NZ still working on re-building their lives after the floods and earthquakes.

For more gratefulness, head over here

Ah yes, the simplicity of childhood. It's a little harder to protect them from the baddies when their Daddy goes to war, but we just keep it even more loving at home to keep they feeling safe. Even the high schooler can remain protected from much of the harshness. Thinking of Japan, just too crazy with natural disasters this year alone. Love Posie

Your beach looks lovely. It is not so sunny here, but we are heading off to the beach this afternoon anyway. It seems like we haven't been there for ages (it's 10 minutes away)

I really need to feel the sea breeze in my face and the sand between my toes:)

How beautifully captured - those moments on the beach. These are the memories - the simples things. Hot day here in Sydney and we are just back from a morning at the beach. So sad for all the people affected in Japan, makes me want to hug my life.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Hello! Your beach looks wonderful and if you can find sea glass, it's just perfect! Beautiful creation with lovely natural materials!
I'm from Finland, so you understand how exited I was seeing that fabric of Marimekko in your last post! My sister in England has the same as a curtain! It's a great piece of nature!
Sunny wishes from Crete! Teje
