Simple re-purposing exercise today. Didn't have the heart to throw out all the beautiful Christmas cards we received this year so I cut off the covers and re-purposed them as swing tag cards.
Have tucked them away to place on my presents next year.

I did the same thing a few weeks ago but already have no idea where I put them. I'm sure they'll turn up next January.
I love this idea, now where did I put my cards....
Clever you! I admire your Depression-era frugality! I'm shamelessly jumping on board that idea.
I'm trying to stick to a strict embargo on store-bought cards ... unless they're absolutely, eye-poppingly beautiful.
That's such a great idea. It would be a great project for the kids. Thanks for sharing the idea, Tamara
I've still got my Christmas cards sitting in a holder on my sideboard..now I'll repurpose them before I put them away!
Great work! Love that fabric in the background too.
I know I would have no hope of finding them next year though...
:)
my first thought was also - 'my god - where did i put them - i know at the time i thought it was an obvious spot, but....'
well done and virtuousness
Great idea to get all of these done now. It's always such a push with 100 things to do by the time December comes around - it will be great to pull out a stash of tags ready to go then.
What a great idea. And very clever of you not to leave it til December!
Hope you are having a great week, Dee x
Gosh this is so darn clever! Why didn't you post this before I threw away all the old Christmas cards?????
