Handmade Christmas Challenge

Can't believe I'm late for the very last posting of a Handmade Christmas Challenge! I do have a good excuse.

I've been madly wrapping presents for Kinder and Prep teachers

Organising treats for our Christmas barbie yesterday.

Making decorations.

I've thoroughly enjoyed hosting this challenge albeit a tad over zealous starting in June! But just when I thought I may be the only one participating in my humble little challenge, one of you would link in with an amazing gift you had been working on. So thank you all for joining in and keeping the crafty spirit alive and well. Thank you to all 59 of you (at last count) who responded to the challenge and whilst some of you may not have participated, your comments were always timely and encouraging.

Of course, just one last free downloadable print for those feverishly wrapping presents:

Free printable Christmas warning labels here .

Wishing you and your families a very safe and happy Christmas.

I am one of your 59 who joined but didn't link up, but I have been inspired by your challenge, and I do now have a good number handmade gifts (both by me and sourced from other makers) ready to wrap and post to our families in Melbourne. We made lots of cards and tree decorations, our advent calendar, a wreath and lots of shortbread. Sewed skirts and pillowcases hand printed with potato stamps. Actually I'm still going -still have stockings to make and it's all a bit of a rush to get finished. Thanks so much for the prompting and inspiration, and if you do it again next year, I'll be starting with you in June! x Sarah

Those teachers are very lucky indeed. The wrapping looks beautiful and I can only imagine the goodies inside. Thanks for hosting Handmade Christmas Challenge. Although I only linked up a few times, you inspired me to create some great little gifts for Christmas. I loved seeing what you had discovered and what things you had been making.

Still struggling to finish the last few handmade pressies, and have enjoyed purchasing others, I did start in June as well, but you know how it is!

Hi Trace, Thanks for taking the time to host the Christmas challenge, although I have only joined a few and came in late, it has been fun.

I`m also one of the 59 but sadly was too embarrassed to show off some of my finished objects because the standard of everyone else`s was incredibly high! However, I have found inspiration and some great ideas for gifts which I wouldn`t otherwise have discovered had I not happened upon your fabulous blog. Thank you so much for hosting the Challenge and a Very Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year to you and yours. xx

Thank you for hosting, it got me motivated to be super organised this year. I could not post as often as I would like as too many of the gift recipients ready my blog.
I also got lots of great ideas from other people linking up.
June was NOT too early at all - I start thinking every January!
Happy Christmas to you. Cat xox

Handmade Christmas gifts are always looks different from others gifts. It is impressive too. IT depends on your creativity that what you made? You can make cards, pictures, posters etc. But some precious things made your loved once happy that you want to gift.
