Handmade Christmas Challenge

I'm a hardcore, glue touting, ribbon twirling, paper wrapping addict. I think hands down the best part about Christmas is the wrapping of presents and the making of handmade cards. I just can't get enough of it and what's more, these images make me weak at the knees.

Have you started making your Christmas cards yet? I plan on getting my kids to do similar cards like this for their class mates.

There is no end to people's creativity. These vintage books have been given new life with some Christmas cheer.

Not to be outdone by the world map, head over here for some local Melway wrapping action.

The humble doily - nothing humble about it. Just stunning.

Love that gingham.

What wonderful creations are you making for Christmas? Have you spied someone else's creation that would be perfect for a loved one? Perhaps you need some help with a few ideas. To join in, just leave a comment and simply add your link below. You can join in anytime during the week. yes! Yes! I love the wrapping and the card making too! I have been stocking up on kitchen twine in preparation. I have some fun doily decorations planned for our house this year -can't wait to get started!

P.S. That last picture is divine! Where does it come from?

Oh very nice. Do you know where you'd get heart shaped doilies from? They are just beautiful. Love the last red gingham picture of course!

That's so inspiring! I love beautifully wrapped gifts - they make they present seem almost unnecessary (almost!)

All those shades of white and cream in the first montage are just heavenly. I love wrapping too - ribbons, little handmade gift tags, the works. And I've filed the little Christmas tree cards away in my brain - the perfect production line with the muffin tin would make it really simple for kids.

Just remembered I had a pop up deer card you may wish to convert to a Christmas card - have added it to your link.

There so much gorgeous wrapping on your page!

fantastic wrapping ideas - it makes the effort of the presents go one step longer i think.
I think that gingham ribbon is just ace for getting the reds into it.

Great to see Dee's maps here - just love that idea :)

I LOVE the look of the lacey doily on the pretty brown kraft paper - the red ribbons are the perfect finishing touch! I make my gift bags with fabric so they're reusable - mostly they're just simple bags but once in a while I try to make them extra special with repurposed doilies, trims etc. :)
